Painting with a side of yoga! Virtually enjoy a Sunday afternoon of art and wellness as you take care of your full self through yoga and painting. You’ll need a mat or towel to workout on, and art supplies for your creation.The workshop will begin with a 30-Minute grounding and heartwarming yoga flow with CS Director, Malachi Robinson. The yoga flow will get the creative spirit flowing for the 60-minute art session with Anna Washington of Banana Split Studios!About the Artist:Malachi is a Yoga Instructor and Reiki practitioner. He has been practicing yoga for 7 years. He began studying African dance and music at age the age of 16 and it was through his intensive dance training at the Dance Institute of Washington that Malachi was first introduced to yoga. After only a few classes, Malachi immediately fell in love with yoga and through his journey he has found a renewed sense of peace, spirituality and purpose. Malachi completed the Level 1 Jiivana (L.I.F.E.) Yoga® teacher training and Levels 1 & 2 Usui Reiki training at Spiritual Essence Yoga and Wellness Center in Upper Marlboro, MD. In Malachi’s classes he loves to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice.
