Event Description

This class is designed to help new liberal gun owners form a baseline in safety and marksmanship, helping their first time at the range be safe and fun. It’s specifically for novice shooters who may already have purchased a firearm or is in the process but aren’t sure where to go to find out how to use it. Certificate issued upon completion of class.Note: In New York State you cannot handle firearms unless you have a state permit issued by your county of residence, I am certified by the Liberal Gun Club to teach two courses; Basic Hand Gun Safety and Firearms Familiarization. Normally, these classes are presented in-person, including range time for student who already have New York State Pistol permits. However, due to COVID-19, I am holding these classes online at a significantly reduced rate for the time being. I received pistol training at Sig Sauer Academy in Epping, New Hampshire and at Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Goshen, NY where I completed the full curriculum of the “Civilian Tactical Handgun Training” which concluded with shooting the New York State Law Enforcement Course of Fire with a 96% proficiency. I am a member of the Liberal Gun Club (LGC) and national gun organization, and the National African American Gun Association (NAAGA) another national gun organization with over 50,000 members and counting. Locally, I am a member of Hudson Valley Nubian Gun Club (HVNGC) located in the New York Hudson Valley region. My goal is to contribute to the 2A community by demystifying the prevailing firearms narrative as it relates to historically under served and marginalized African-American, other communities of color and women.I live in Ellenville, NY, and serve SE New York, and NE Pennsylvania.Remember:1.
