2020 has been the year of remote working with many teams turning to virtual workspaces to keep productivity up and keeping the business moving forward. Remote working certainly provides opportunities and helps to level the playing field for minorities, women, parents and caregivers, and those with disabilities, and it has been proven to be effective at maintaining productivity levels like an office environment. Let’s examine the key lessons learned from managing a remote workforce, how leadership styles need to be adapted to suit the digital environment, and how we can take these lessons forward to improve organizational culture and effectiveness.
