Register: About: Over 52% of permanent migrants from Africa are women. Which means that adjustment to a new culture and unfamiliar country can be daunting. Sometimes some simple education and information about new customs, Australian culture, including multiculturism, expectations and methods in how things are done, can make a great difference to one’s social and employment opportunities and integration. The aim of this group is to support African women with their wellbeing, promote connectedness, and reduce isolation. The support group provides the participants with guidance about mental health and self-care and a safe space to share their concerns about the challenges they face. In addition, to ask for advice and help.Contact us for any questions: or phone 1300 643 287.
