A Durham Tradition, Live from Hayti’s Chuck Davis Dance Emporium, is BACK! Prepare to travel the African Diaspora in this energetic and culturally rich dance exploration with a Virtual Twist,. Let the movements of the Motherland uplift your soul and jump-start your body. This class is taught by seasoned dance professionals Toni Hall and Ivy Burch.The Hour Virtual class incorporates deep breathing, conditioning, and cardio intensive movements from various dance styles. All are welcome to join us! Donation $5 per class.

Hayti, under the guidance of the St. Joseph's Historic Foundation, presents this signature event each year in an effort to keep Black film alive.u00a0 New and veteran artists screen their films before an enthusiastic crowd of film enthusiasts while vendors provide great food, beverages, arts and crafts. The Center preserves and advances the heritage and culture of historic Hayti and the African American experience through programs that benefit the broader community locally, nationally and globally.u00a0 Hayti Heritage Film Festival is one of those program and helps preserve the heritage and embrace the experience of Black film and more for the Durham and surrounding communities.
